Account is used to classify all financial transactions according to type of accounting entry. The university has identified Budget Accounts, Expense Accounts and Revenue Accounts defined by the financial system business units (UKANS and CRINC).
The UKANS business unit has Expense and Revenue Accounts defined by the State’s policy and procedure manual. The University can define additional Accounts by identifying specific expenses or receipts but the University can not combine many state values into one University Account.
