DEMIS, which stands for Departmental Executive Management Information System, is a planning and management information system accessed via the Internet. DEMIS is comprised of several reporting tools including
- General Academic Reports
- Payroll Gross and Fringe Reports
- Financial, Grant and Budget Reports
- Student Administration Reports
Access
Access to DEMIS Financial Reporting Tool is granted to staff in the following manner:
- Users of the Financial System (FSKU) are automatically granted DEMIS Financials access.
- PI’s on a grant are automatically granted DEMIS Financials access.
- Staff granted access to the other DEMIS reporting areas (HREO/Payroll and Academic) are automatically granted DEMIS Financials access.
- Requests made to the Financial System Administrator for access.
Data
DEMIS data is updated regularly from PeopleSoft systems.

Twice Daily Updates after midnight and during the noon hour
- Financials
- Grant Reporting
- UBUD
Updates Monthly
- Financials Monthly Report
Training
Payroll Gross and Fringe and UBUD reports are covered during the regular system access training for the HR/Pay systems.
Financials reporting will be scheduled for overview sessions 3 times per year. Hands on training either for groups or individuals can be requested by contacting the Financial System Administrator.
