DEMIS, which stands for Departmental Executive Management Information System, is a planning and management information system accessed via the Internet. DEMIS is comprised of several reporting tools including
- KU Profiles
- Academic and Instructional Links
- Payroll Gross and Fringe Reports
- KUFS Financial Reports
- CRINC Financial Reports
- PI Project/Grant Financial Reporting
- UBUD Department Financial Reports
Access
Access to DEMIS data originating from the HR/Pay and Financials PeopleSoft systems is granted to users at the time they are granted access to PeopleSoft.
KU staff that are not users of HR/Pay or Financials may be given access to university financial information through use of the DEMIS KUFS reporting tool. Contact the Financial System Administrator for id and password information.
Data
DEMIS data is updated regularly from PeopleSoft systems.

Twice Daily Updates after midnight and during the noon hour
- KUFS Financials
- CRINC Financial Reports
- PI Project/Grant Financial Reports
- UBUD Department Financial Reports
Training
Payroll Gross and Fringe and UBUD reports are covered during the regular system access training for the HR/Pay systems.
KUFS reporting is reviewed as needed by department staff requests.
CRINC and PI Project Grant reporting is reviewed in KUCR Research Administration 101 classes.
